Does exactly what it says on the box.

Splatterhouse is a button mashing, beat-em-up re-boot of the 80’s classic side-scrollers of the same name.

It tells the blood-soaked tale of Rick, a heavy metal fan with questionable facial hair, who comes down with a terrible case of death during a visit to an old, creepy mansion with his beautiful girlfriend Jen. Rick need not fear the reaper just yet though, because help comes in the form of a powerful and foul-mouthed Terror Mask. Aided by the strength the mask has given him, Rick must battle his way through hordes of terrifying monsters in order to save his girlfriend, and ultimately, the world.

Splatterhouse was developed by Namco Bandai Games and is available on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Splatterhouse Review

‘If the videogame industry could get an erection, then this game would be it’s engorged penis. Splatterhouse is packed full with more blood than Dracula’s drinks cabinet, and revels in dishing out the arterial spray at every opportunity.’   Read the full review –>
